Alban thrives in the moody Fall vibes and endless rainstorms
that are the perfect backdrop for her storytelling. When she’s
not writing, she’s out hiking trails, kayaking on misty waters,
or chillin’ at home crocheting cozy projects.
Her trusty fur baby and dedicated familiar, Mateo, is
always by her side making every adventure whether outdoors
or in the world of words that much better.

Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, Sam and Jay met in the wild and uncertain times of San Francisco, 1999. In a strategic attempt to survive Y2K, they forged a friendship that has spanned over two decades. After making a huge life decision to move out of state, Jay (and his wife) became Oregonians. Loving the vibe of the quirky PNW, Sam followed suit a few years later, albeit in a different city. But something was still missing...a more collaborative something. Having an interest in screenwriting, Sam approached Jay and convinced him to join her in writing the first season of Heroes of Extinction. The two now work as a writing team with a focus on action-driven material with an emotional edge.
